A little something for the pet lovers...

Last night, I decided to dig deep in my flannel inventory, and out jumped a fun little print that I completely forgot I had. And voila, the resulting pad:

Listed here!

It kind of reminds me of 101 Dalmatians (a favorite childhood movie!), but I suppose the prints could just as easily belong to cats. ;-) Do any of you have pets? We live in an apartment right now, so we're currently petless, but one these days, we hope to have a small menagerie. Meanwhile, I'd love to hear about yours!

Earth Month Giveaway! Week 1

Oh, you guys, I am so excited about this.

April 22 marks Earth Day, the holiday that reminds us all to be a little greener. Well, what could be more green than using cloth feminine pads? One of my favorite aspects about cloth pads, and the feature that started me on the cloth journey in the first place, is that they significantly cut down on trash. Did you know that an average woman will use over 10,000 disposable pads or tampons in her lifetime? Whoa!

So, in celebration of Earth Day and because I love giveaways so much, Mama D's Closet is going to be hosting a giveaway!

This week's giveaway is... a 3-pack of MiniPads!

MiniPads are heavy-duty panty liners specially designed by me. Since they offer a little more absorbency than most panty liners while having very little bulk, they are just perfect for pairing with a menstrual cup, or wearing by themselves on lighter flow days!

The prize is very similar to the 3-pack offered in my Etsy store, except I will be choosing three mystery prints to send to the winner-- they will include special prints and color combinations that haven't been released to the Mama D's Closet shop yet!

This giveaway ends this Sunday-- but be sure to come back for more giveaways in the future!

Open to the U.S. only.

First Post!

In the most recent Mama D's Closet giveaway on my personal blog, I asked you what was your biggest hindrance to using cloth pads. There were so many different responses, I realized that addressing them would require a whole new blog in and of itself! So I created this blog to discuss cloth pad usage, menstrual topics, and news from the Mama D's Closet shop on Etsy. I love blogging, and I'm looking forward to writing about the fun world of cloth feminine pads!
